Why Are We Using Faulty COVID-19 Tests?
The chances of a positive result being accurate are minuscule from a test amplified over 35 cycles. Most labs are amplifying the RNA collected via nose swabs according to the recommended 40 to 45 cycles, which may mean more than 80% of the results are false positives.
The PCR test is not designed to be used as a diagnostic tool as it cannot distinguish between inactive viruses and “live” or reproductive ones
